GAP x Igdalyah
For the Gap × Harlem’s Fashion Row collaboration, I reimagined classic American denim through the lens of my Caribbean upbringing and design language. Raised in the Virgin Islands, I’ve always been drawn to color, texture, and transformation — taking familiar materials and pushing them into something unexpected. Inspired by the vibrant tones of the Caribbean Sea and the lived-in character of vintage denim, I developed washes and silhouettes that feel both timeless and personal. The project became an exploration of identity, heritage, and craftsmanship, blending Gap’s iconic legacy with the expressive, detail-driven world of Igdalyah.
