As Lead Designer at Hanifa, I managed this special collaboration between Woodford Reserve, Sergio Hudson, and Hanifa. The project challenged us to translate Woodford’s 200 unique tasting notes into fashion through psycho-textiles—fabrics designed to evoke emotional responses through touch.

Hanifa was tasked with creating two designs that brought the notes of chocolate and rose to life:
The Red Rose Dress — detailed with 3D fabric petals scattered across the silhouette, symbolizing blooming florals and romantic notes.
The Chocolate Dress — constructed with a mix of matte and patent brown fabrics, designed to look as rich and indulgent as melted fudge.
This collaboration tested and expanded my skills in textile design, creative direction, and construction. I worked hand-in-hand with my seamstress team to explore unconventional fabric manipulations, refine finishing techniques, and execute each piece to couture-level precision. The result was a project that proved both visually striking and emotionally resonant—a true spectacle for the senses.
